Love and Death in Krishnanagar is the first English translation of poet, songwriter, essayist, and fiction writer Kazi Nazrul Islam’s Mrityukshudha. The novel provides a sensitive glimpse of life in a mofussil town in Bengal in the early years of the twentieth century and the lonely plight of a revolutionary.
